CONCEPT: Cost-effective and robust gas compression added to 110 MMscfd facility
OVERVIEW: Gas compression added to a 110 MMscfd JT dewpointing facility to support reservoir pressure decline and incremental gas production. The conceptual design work supported decisions regarding compressor location, evaluation of alternatives, machine and driver selection, and project execution planning and support. Multiple trains of centrifugal gas compressors are being added to an existing facility that will offer highly reliable continued plant operations, offers a good fit with local operating capabilities and challenges, and cause minimal disruption to supply during construction.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Conceptual design, FEED, and engineering for gas plant upgrade
- Execution and contracting planning and support
- Oversight and QA / QC
MARKETS SERVED: Oil and gas production facilities – this gas plant serves as the primary natural gas source for a large city in East Africa.
