India’s gas utility GAIL has reportedly issued a tender seeking three cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for delivery between mid-November and January.
The first delivery is for the window from November 15 and the end of December, Reuters reported on Thursday citing traders.
The second cargo is being sought for the first half of January while the third shipment is for the second half of the same month, the report said.
Bids must be submitted by October 24 and the tender is valid until October 25.
The state-owned utility imports LNG via the Dabhol and Dahej terminal, where it has capacity rights. GAIL has also signed a non-binding deal to take capacity at the proposed Dhamra LNG terminal.
