Gasum closes Linde’s LNG and biogas business buy

The Nordic energy company Gasum closed the acquisition of Linde’s LNG and biogas business in Sweden and Norway.

It has also purchased Naturicor’s marine bunkering business in Germany. The acquisition closed on April 30, Gasum said in its statement.

The company added that the businesses generate annual revenues of more than €100 million ($ 108.6 million).

Gasum added that the transaction strengthens its strategy by developing the Nordic gas market and creating a platform for a broader offering to its customers in the maritime, industry and road transport segments.

The acquisition also accelerates the company’s growth strategy for cleaner transport solutions in the Nordic heavy-duty vehicle market.

Assets covered by the transaction include LNG terminal’s in Sweden and Norway, bunkering vessel Seagas, bunkering vessel Kairos and 48 gas filling stations in Sweden and Norway.
