The EDF-operated Dunkirk LNG terminal in France received a cargo of liquefied natural gas from Peru on Tuesday.
The cargo to France’s fourth LNG import terminal was delivered onboard the GasLog-owned, 155,000-cbm GasLog Shanghai LNG tanker.
The tanker discharged 142,841-cbm of the chilled fuel, terminal operator, Dunkerque LNG said in a brief social media statement.
Data from the state-owned Perupetro previously indicated that the GasLog Shanghai was heading towards Spain, instead of France.
Dunkirk LNG terminal started commercial operations on January 1 this year and has since then received four cargoes, including the latest one.
The terminal has a regasification capacity of 13 billion cubic meters per year. It is owned and operated by Dunkerque LNG, a company 65 percent owned by France’s EDF, 25 percent by Belgium’s Fluxys and 10 percent by French Total.
